Now, in partnership with Jesus.net, Gravity Jack is launching a new product and company in Haiven, Inc., a spin-off focused on protecting the next generation through safe, AI-moderated chat and gaming.
Gravity Jack is the veteran AR and AI company founded in 2009, known for pioneering augmented reality technology and holding foundational patents now being licensed. The team has built award-winning games and applications for brands like Pokémon GO, Barbie, and the Department of Defense, generating billions in revenue for clients. Now, in partnership with Jesus.net, Gravity Jack is launching a new product and company in Haiven, Inc., a spin-off focused on protecting the next generation through safe, AI-moderated chat and gaming. Haiven empowers wholesome and faith-based game developers, combats online toxicity and trafficking, and redefines digital engagement with purpose-driven innovation in order to reach the largest unreached people group in the world: gamers.
Jennifer has spent over 20 years in tech, co-founding and scaling multiple startups. After entering the industry in 2002, she co-founded Tometa Software and served as CFO through its acquisition in 2007, then held the same role at the aquiring gaming company. In 2009, she co-founded Gravity Jack, a pioneer in mobile AR, VR, and gaming.
Originally from Southern California, she now lives in the Pacific Northwest. She’s a mother of four, grandmother of three, triathlete, sport bike rider, skydiver, and extreme athlete. But her most profound transformation came in March 2019, when she encountered Jesus in a life altering way. He pulled her out of the mud and placed her on solid ground; she surrendered to the Lord’s pursuit and began a radical journey of healing and relationship with the Father.
Luke began coding at 14, including work for NASA, and went on to create several successful startups – among them the first internet news site with a newspaper and OpenEye, later sold to Alarm.com. After selling his last company to a gaming firm in 2007, he and his wife Jen founded Gravity Jack, pioneering mobile-based augmented reality with a strong patent portfolio, research team, and they helped create top tier games like Pokemon Go, Double Down Casino, and many others that have made billions for their clients.
In 2019, after a radical encounter with Jesus that saved him from suicide, Luke surrendered his life, business, and family to God. His transformation led to the restoration of his marriage and a renewed mission. Now 51, he’s a father, grandfather, skydiver, cage fighter, and snowboarder. He sees Gravity Jack and their game WarTribe as a sheep in wolves’ clothing—built to reach the lost through gaming. He sees Gravity Jack and their current game, WarTribe of Binyamin, as a sheep in wolves’ clothing – designed from the start to infiltrate enemy territory and spread the Gospel through gaming.
